Today, July 8, 2020, the bank, which services PRA payroll and where PRA personnel have been conducting official transactions, confirmed that they have employees who tested positive for COVID-19.
Upon receiving pertinent information, the PRA conducted contact tracing within the Agency. It was found out that a number of PRA employees and utility personnel visited the bank during the period that the subject bank employees reported for work. It was then identified that 158 PRA employees and one (1) utility personnel are possibly exposed to the virus.
As a precautionary measure, the PRA employees and utility personnel concerned shall undergo a 14-day quarantine from July 9 to 22, 2020.
Considering that these individuals comprise a substantial percentage of the entire PRA workforce, the PRA Management is compelled to implement a skeleton workforce until the subject employees are cleared to report for work in the office premises.
The health and safety of our employees including their families are of paramount importance to us. Hence, we ask for understanding from our stakeholders as delay in response to queries and correspondences may be expected. Further, cashier services will be closed during the said period.
Nevertheless, to reiterate our previous advisory, we highly encourage our stakeholders to transact by sending an email at [email protected] and/or at the e-mail address of PRA personnel concerned. We also encourage online meetings via Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
In cases where physical delivery of documents is necessary, please enclose the documents in a plastic envelope for easy disinfection. Upon arrival at Legaspi Towers 200 Building, inform the lobby guard that the documents are for PRA. The guard shall then call the PRA Records Office and a PRA personnel shall proceed to the lobby and personally receive your documents. Please wait for the PRA personnel and do not leave the documents to the lobby guard.
Thank you and we hope that everyone is in good health and in a safe environment.
