The Philippine Reclamation Authority pursues land development as there is an increasing demand for land and growing interest to locate investments in the country.


Completed Land Development Projects

 Alabang Stock Farm (Now, Filinvest Corporate City)

The 244-hectare Alabang Stock Farm used to be an underutilized grazing land with some government office structures. It is located adjacent to Ayala-Alabang Village Commercial Center. By virtue of a joint venture agreement entered into by and between the National Government as Property Owner and Filinvest as developer, the property has been successfully transformed into a satellite city of Metro Manila, and is now named Filinvest Corporate City. PRA was designated as Project Manager in this land development endeavor.

 Pres. Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard (PDMB) 

The five-kilometer, eight-lane President Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard traverses various island reclamations within the Manila Bay area. The road network eases traffic on heavily-congested Roxas Boulevard.

 PRA Esplanade 

The green buffer zone between the Manila Bay shoreline and the areas for development has become a destination among local and foreign tourists. The PRA entered into a lease agreement for the lease of 1.7 hectares for commercial use and the landscaping of the entire eight-hectare area. The area offers open air cafes, eateries and restaurants and has become a venue for health conscious joggers in the morning and early evenings. During the day, people from all walks of life go to the area for a break and for meals.

The esplanade is a perfect area for individuals or families to view the famous Manila Bay sunset.

 Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway / CAVITEX 

The Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway (MCTE) started in 1998 as a 6.6 kilometer stretch of coastal road from Seaside Drive in Parañaque to Zapote in Las Piñas.

On April 27, 2011, President Benigno S. Aquino III inaugurated the 7-kilometer extension of MCTE which was opened to the general public on May 1 of the same year.

The whole stretch is now known as the CAVITEX. Operated by the Public Estates Authority Tollway Corporation (PEATC), a subsidiary of the PRA, CAVITEX utilizes the country's first prepaid card toll-payment scheme or e-Tap card. It facilitates for speedier transport of goods from the Cavite Export Processing Zone to the Port Area and the NAIA, contributing greatly to the national economy.

The CAVITEX is a Public Private Partnership between the PRA and Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC, formerly UEM-Mara Philippines Corporation). The CIC was a subsidiary of Coastal Road Corporation at the time of the construction of CAVITEX. Currently, CIC is a unit of Metro Pacific Investments Corp.

J. W. Diokno Boulevard

Completed on March 31, 2011, J. W. Diokno Boulevard is a road parallel to President Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard running similarly on a North-South pattern. It runs through CBP I Islands A, B and C including Aseana Business Park.

The road is 50.0 meters wide with four (4) vehicle lanes of traffic in each direction.

Asean Avenue

Asean Avenue Road begins with a slab-type bridge connection from Roxas Boulevard. The road then traverses towards President Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard and Diokno Boulevard. It ends at the green zone near the seawall of the Manila Bay. Completed on March 31, 2011, the 1.428 kilometer road spans Aseana Business Park and Central Business Park 1 Islands B & C in Parañaque City.

Asean Avenue Bridge

Asean Avenue Bridge is a ten (10) lane bridge with five (5) lanes for each bound. With its length of 20 meters, it connects Roxas Boulevard to Aseana Business Park and Central Business Park 1 Islands B & C in Parañaque City. It was likewise completed on March 31, 2011. 

Roxas Canal Inland Channel

A joint undertaking of PRA and Pasay-Hongkong Realty Development Corp., the Roxas  Canal Inland Project is located at the Central Business Park I (CBP-I) Island A, Pasay City. Measuring 820.00 linear meters, the project was completed last June 30, 2012.    This channel serves as the passage of water from the hinterland of Pasay City out to Manila Bay through Libertad and Redemptorist Channels.  

Libertad and Redemptorist Bridges

Libertad and Redemptorist Bridges lead to world class establishments and economic development zones in the reclamation area in Pasay and Paranaque Cities. The two bridges were opened to the public on March 2013 and they form part of J.W. Diokno Boulevard, a major thoroughfare parallel to Roxas Boulevard and Pres. Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard.

Connecting the GSIS Complex and the Financial Center Area to the CBP 1-Island A or the Mall of Asia Complex within Pasay City, the 100-meter Libertad Bridge has four vehicle lanes of traffic on each direction. It is an alternative route from the City of Manila to the sprouting commercial and business districts of Pasay City.

Redemptorist Bridge connects CBP 1-IA or the Mall of Asia Complex to PAGCOR’s Entertainment City in Parañaque. It is a 57.5-meter bridge with four vehicle lanes of traffic on each direction. It will directly lead to Asean Avenue, the main access to Entertainment City. The extensive length of the bridges, which connect reclaimed lands, proves that reclamation projects are designed with adequate water ways and therefore do not cause inland flooding.


Land Development Projects on the Pipeline 

Land Development at Asiaworld 

Approximately 11 hectares of property located on the northwest side of Aguinaldo highway is being developed within Asiaworld City, Brgy, Tambo, Parañaque City. Identified as reclaimed inland channel, the area is adjacent to the Caltex service station approximately 700 meters south of the NAIA Road. 

PRA shall construct the asphalt roads for its Road Right-of-Way. It shall also install concrete culvert pipe for drainage facilities, as well as road lighting facilities.
