PRA among Top 10 GOCCS in 2021 Corporate Governance Scorecard

The Philippine Reclamation Authority was recognized as one of the top-ranking Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) in the 2021 Corporate Governance Scorecard (CGS) for GOCCS during the CY 2021 CGS Exit Conference held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City on 05 December 2022.

PRA was hailed as the first runner up of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Champion for the Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) sector during the 2022 FOI Awards Virtual Ceremony last 25 November 2022.

PRA garners 90.54% satisfaction rating from its stakeholders for CY 2021

The Philippine Reclamation Authority’s quality public service and robust customer relationship translated into measurable success outcomes when PRA surpassed its stakeholder satisfaction target in 2021.  The stakeholders notably commended PRA’s services and facilities as evident in the overall average satisfaction rating of 4.44 with 90.54% of its stakeholders satisfied (weighted) and 4.46 with 91.89% of its stakeholders satisfied (unweighted).

ONE RESILIENT TEAM, TACLOBAN PROJECT

A pilot program of shoreline restoration using non-structural/environmental measures that will protect Tacloban City’s coastal communities from coastal hazards, it is a collaboration between PRA, One Architecture of New York and Amsterdam, and the Local Government of Tacloban City. It successfully implemented the science-based approach of beach forest rehabilitation and mangrove reforestation using a seed fund that the team won from Global Resilience Partnership’s globally competitive Water Window Challenge in 2017.

CAVITEX

The Manila Cavite Toll  Expressway Project (MCTEP) or CAVITEX currently consists of three (3) segments namely; R1 Expressway from Seaside Drive in Parañaque City to Zapote Road in Bacoor City,  R1 Expressway Extension from Kawit to Noveleta in Cavite, and the C-5 Link Expressway from Sucat Interchange to South Luzon Interchange.

CENTRAL BUSINESS PARK I – ISLAND A

A reclaimed land along the Manila Cavite Coastal Road Reclamation Project (MCCRRP) within the jurisdiction of Pasay City. It is bounded by Roxas Boulevard, EDSA Extension and Pres. Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard with an area of more or less 180 hectares. The Project consist of mixed-use development with commercial, business, and recreational areas.

Central Business Park I – Islands B&C

The Project was bounded on the north by CBP 1 - Island A, on the east by Roxas Boulevard, on the south by CBP-II and Asiaworld and on the west by the existing seawall fronting Manila Bay.

The Project has a total reclaimed land of 210 hectares plus the water channels surrounding it. The reclamation works consist of raising the area to an elevation of +3 meters above Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW), construction of seawall, and containment walls.
